Cheers to the souls who make it this far down my slice of the internet. No chicken noodle soup here — only fruit punch for the soul.

Every Sunday after mass, my family would take me to McDonalds and get me a 4-piece chicken nuggets Happy Meal. What made my meal happy was not the chicken nuggets or even the fries. It was always the fruit punch. I’ve gone from being a 3-year-old getting her sugar fix from an exclusive Sunday treat to a now 20-something-year-old who uses it as a subtle reminder to hold on; even on the most difficult of days when the world is unraveling quicker than she can pick up.

Life is not a waste of time, time is not a waste of life. So let’s not waste any time, get wasted, and have the time of our lives
